Questions

  • The duration depends on the size of your space and the type of service.
    Standard cleanings take between 3 to 5 hours with one cleaner. Initial, deep move in/move out, post-renovation cleanings take 3 to 5 hours with two, three or four cleaners. The total amount of hours estimated based on the information you have provided is split among the team to complete it. Actual duration may vary depending on the condition but we’ll discuss it in real time with a client over text/phone. We discuss with you, if you want to complete the scope and add hours (we estimate how many in real time) or to keep the estimated budget and exclude non-priority items/areas. The decision is yours. We do not automatically charge you without communicating!

  • Absolutely. As a registered cleaning business we have necessary insurance and coverage including 2 million in liability. All our cleaners are background-checked, and fully insured for your peace of mind. Cleaners are not allowed to a site on their own unless they have successfully passed training and probation hours. All cleaners regularly undergo professional development in cleaning tools, techniques and materials.

  • We use high-quality, safe, and eco-friendly cleaning products. We are happy to provide you with labels on site before applying. If you prefer specific products, we are happy to discuss it and leave a note to your cleaner. If you are allergic to all cleaning materials, we can offer steam cleaning without adding any products.

  • We understand plans change. You can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment without any fee. Please, note, we have a cancellation fee policy for the short notice of 48 hours or less. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a fee of 25% (if rescheduled) to 50% (if cancelled) of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations or no access will be charged 100%.
    If you are on our regular maintenance schedule just let us know as soon as you know, we understand people get sick or emergencies happen. We have a one time courtesy fee waiver for regular clients. After two cancellations, we reserve the right to charge 100% for the service and open up your spot to other clients. We can find a new spot when you are back but the previous date and time is not guaranteed.

  • Our preferred method of payment is via e-transfer to an email hello@bbclean.ca
    You can also pay online with a card by clicking on the invoice, which you receive via email. A 3% processing fee may apply, and you will be informed in such a case.

  • Security deposit applies only to the first cleaning. To secure the booking, we ask to pay 50% as a deposit, and the rest of the amount after the cleaning. The deposit can be transferred to another cleaning date, if it is rescheduled more than 48 hours before the cleaning session. This policy is mandatory as the cleaners are scheduled and often paid regardless. There is travel time and opportunity cost involved as the short notice makes it nearly impossible to rebook the slot.

  • Service concerns are uncommon. At BB Clean, we believe a better quality of life begins with exceptional cleaning. That’s why a senior member of our team performs random quality checks at both residential and commercial jobs to maintain high standards. If we ever fall short of your expectations, simply contact our office within 24 hours, and we’ll promptly return to address any areas that need attention.

  • Yes, BB Clean proudly serves Calgary and nearby communities, including Chestermere, Okotoks, and Cochrane. Services outside Calgary may include an additional out-of-town fee. We also provide cleaning services in Airdrie, Okotoks, Chestermere, Langdon, and Cochrane.

  • Our team cleans thoroughly and with care, which means we handle many items in your home or office (always with your permission). While rare, accidents can occasionally occur. If something is damaged during a cleaning, our team will leave a note and report it to the BB Clean office so we can arrange a repair or replacement promptly.

    To help prevent issues, we ask that items be securely placed before your appointment. If there are specific items you prefer not to be cleaned, please let us know—“DO NOT CLEAN” notes are always appreciated.

  • Yes, BB Clean is happy to clean homes with pets. We simply ask that you let us know ahead of time so we can note it on your work order, especially for allergy or safety considerations.

  • Yes! Gift cards from BB Clean can be purchased online through our website or by contacting our office directly. They’re a perfect gift for any occasion.

  • Absolutely—thank you for your generosity! Tips are always appreciated by our BB Clean team. If you choose to tip by credit card, that option is available, and 100% of tips go directly to our cleaners.

  • Our standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we do not offer evening appointments. Limited weekend availability is sometimes possible—please discuss this with us during the quoting process, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
